I wanted to talk about some books that I don’t think get enough attention in my posts, so here they are.
- Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy – Cassandra Clare
I stopped reading this book half way through because I started reading a different book but then I had to read this before I read Lady Midnight, and I was blown away by the ending and everything. I really enjoyed reading this and the tales of a time from beforehand and how they all interlock with one and other. James Herondale was by far my favourite character in this book even though he was only there for a couple of chapters.
- Girl Online – Zoe Sugg
Lastly, I wanted to do a book that I don’t really talk about much, but I really enjoy and that is Girl Online the author is the well-known YouTuber who goes by the name Zoella, and she wrote this three-book series. I really enjoyed reading these books because they’re about a girl who has a blog called Girl Online but it’s secretive and she meets this boy and doesn’t know who he is and quickly falls for him either in a romantic way or a friendship way. With high school drama in the way her only escape is her photography and talking to her gay best friend Elliot. I loved reading about Elliot he is one of my favourite characters and his personality is just so infectious to read.
- Scarlet and Ivy – Sophie Cleverly
This is one of the only middle-grade book series that I enjoy, it is about twin sisters and one of them is pronounced dead and the other twin going undercover and trying to figure out what really happened. Of course, this is only the first one and there is about six of them and I’m up to number four and they are really good. I always love reading a good mystery and these books entertain me and keep me hanging for more.
Overall, I highly recommend any of these books for anyone to read because they are some of my favourites and I just don’t think I talk about them enough on here. I know this is kind of short but never the less hope you enjoyed reading it.
