Book Haul!!

Okay so I know that I said I would post after two weeks but time slipped through my fingers, and before I knew it 4 weeks has gone by. So, for that I am so sorry I promise that I will try to do this more regularly it’s just hard juggling school and homework, plus exams are coming up in 2 weeks so I’m studying like crazy hoping all the information stays in my head.

BUT HALLOWEEN IS NEXT WEEK!!

I can’t wait for Halloween and I just can’t wait to start watching some spooky movies and reading some spooky books. Next week’s blog post the best movies to watch on Halloween.  Get ready for that, but comment if you’re going to dress up and do something with your friends or something like that.  Me and my friends are dressing up for fun and I’m going as the one and only Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Enough about me and more about books so over the course of the 4 weeks that I wasn’t posting I acquired multiple new books that I can’t wait to read. So, today’s blog post is going just to be a book haul with all my new books!!

My Book Haul-

  1. Editing Emma by Chloe Seager

  • This book is new to stores, and I thought it looked interesting as the beginning of the blurb starts with – “According to Netflix this is NOT how my teenage life is supposed to look”- does this not just want to make you read it!! It did for me.

  1. Turtles All the Way Down by John Green

  • All I know about this book is that it’s about a mental illness that John Green himself has experienced in his life, and that is all I want to know because I just want to dive straight into it with little knowledge, making discoveries along the way.

  1. All Rights Reserved by Gregory Scott Katsoulis

  • From what I have heard this book is about whatever you say costs money and this girl had to do a speech for her school, but instead she was mute. Which then started a controversy and a revolution. This intrigues me as I don’t really read a lot of sci-fi and I have a feeling that this book will be very interesting.

  1. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

  • All I know about this book is that I am going to cry, that is all, I don’t want to know any more. I just can’t wait to start reading this book, I have heard so many wonderful things about it.

  1. Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart

  • What I have gathered is that this book is about two starkly different people who become friends and their past life’s catch up to them somehow. That is my interpretation of this book I don’t know if that happens, I just am so excited to read another book by E. Lockhart her books always have an amazing plot twist.

  1. S.T.A.G.S by M.A Bennett

  • This book is about a girl who goes to a new school which is very old fashions, and she is invited to go to with the most popular group of people at her school on a weekend to one of their many houses. But on the blurb, it says that she has committed murder with the two-other people who were invited, this intrigued me as I’m always up for some good thriller.

  1. A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Mass.

  • I finished these books about two weeks ago and I’m so disappointed that there isn’t anymore!!! These books are amazing with so many plot twists that I didn’t see coming at all, they were absolutely beautiful to read. I can’t wait to read more of Sarah J Mass’s writing.

  1. I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore (whole series)

  • With this book I got the whole series as it came as a series box set, and to tell you a little about is that it’s about aliens I think. I’m not quite sure what these are about but I do remember reading something about these and having the urge to buy them. So, I did.
