Christmas Wishlist

I just want to start off with, that I’m sorry I didn’t post last week I ran out of time, but I will keep posting every week on Saturday. So, with that said and done today’s blog post is going to be a Wishlist for Christmas with only books.  This is for if you need to buy a present for a friend or family member you could choose a book from here that they would like. Or if you just really want a book, you could treat yourself to it.  These are just some ideas of books that I personally would want and that I think a lot of people would like as well.

  1. Magnus Chase and the Book of the Dead – Rick Riordan
  • Obviously, you would start at the beginning of this book series but if you have kept up to date this is the latest one out, that I still haven’t got my hands on yet.

  1. We Were Liars – E. Lockhart
  • I think a lot of people will like this not just because I personally do, but because the context in the book is heavenly.

  1. The Night Circus – Erin Morgenstern
  • I have been recommended to read this book multiple times, and it sounds amazing, so I had to put it on here. It’s a fantasy novel that is about a circus that just appears one day. Mystery is a massive thing in this book.

  1. Wonder – Raquel Jaramillo
  • The movie was just released, and it was an incredible one, it was sad, happy, loving, depressing at some stages. But overall one of my favourite movies now and I am sad to say that I haven’t read the book, but I really want to so I can compare the movie and the book. This is defiantly one of those high selling books this Christmas I think.

  1. Throne of Glass – Sarah J. Mass
  • This book series sounds unbelievable, and I sadly haven’t read it yet. But it’s about an assassin and their journey. I don’t really know much, and I don’t want to because this book series I personally think is a series you go in without a lot of knowledge.

  1. Percy Jackson – Rick Riordan
  • This book series is a series that ranges from all ages. Anyone can read it and it’s one of my favourite book series that I highly recommend to anyone looking for something new to read. Defiantly high in fantasy, mystery, and a lot of magical aspects.

  1. Norse Myth Tales of Odin, Thor, and Loki – Kevin Crossley-Holland, Jeffrey Alan Love
  • This book sounds amazing because anything with mythology to me is amazing. From the blurb, it’s about the tales of Odin, Thor, and Loki with Ragnarok involved. which is going to be an action-packed book with adventures and mishaps on the way.

  1. Scarlet and Ivy – Sophie Cleverly
  • I have read the first three in this series and I didn’t even realise that there is book 4, 5 and book 6 is coming soon. I loved reading this series because it was about two girls (Twins) and Ivy’s adventures in this boarding school. Only Ivy’s because Scarlet her twin sister is dead. And the principle doesn’t want that to get out, so Ivy pretends to be Scarlet at this mysterious boarding school. Highly recommend for girls any age because my older sister read this and loved it too.

  1. The Dark Artifices – Cassandra Clare
  • You would have to start at the beginning with The Mortal Instruments but I’m doing The Dark Artifices because that is the latest and a lot of people read this series. But a great gift to give anyone who reads this series is the latest book Lord of Shadows if they haven’t already got it. Because this series is also one of my favourites along with Percy Jackson and Harry Potter.

  1. Harry Potter – JKRowling
  • Not just any Harry Potter but the new illustrated editions, as they look fantastic and Harry Potter is one of the most iconic book series out there. They are incredible and amazingly written.

These are just some books that have really caught my attention, and I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
